A Secretaria Municipal de Promoção Social, Esporte e Combate à Pobreza (Semps) realizou nesta quarta-feira (6) o I Encontro Municipal de Movimentos da Juventude. O evento ocorreu durante todo o dia no auditório da Secretaria, com o objetivo de escolher os participantes da sociedade civil para a gestão 2016/2018 do Conselho Municipal da Juventude de Salvador (Comjuv-Salvador).
Para o colegiado, foram eleitos cinco titulares e dois suplentes, integrantes da sociedade civil, ligados ao movimento da juventude na capital baiana, que representam os segmentos de empreendedorismo, universitário, LGBT, artístico e cultural e partidário.
Também farão parte deste conselho representantes indicados pelas secretarias municipais de Promoção Social, Esporte e Combate à Pobreza; Educação; Saúde; Cultura e Turismo; Cidade Sustentável; Desenvolvimento, Trabalho e Emprego; Mobilidade Urbana; Ordem Pública e Reparação.
O Conselho Municipal da Juventude de Salvador (COMJUV-Salvador), criado em 16 de dezembro de 2015 e vinculado à Semps, tem por finalidade representar a população jovem no Município e garantir o cumprimento de seus direitos e deveres, tendo como balizadores a Constituição Federal e o Estatuto da Juventude.
